Off David Guetta’s latest album, “Hey Mama” features Nicki Minaj and was co-produced with Afrojack. The track is the fourth single off Listen, and is the third collaboration between David Guetta and Nicki Minaj, after “Where Them Girls At” and “Turn Me On”.
Nicki raps the verses and sings along with Bebe Rexha on the chorus, who co-wrote the song. The fact that Bebe Rexha is uncredited on this track is unforgivable, not unlike the time my high school yearbook “forgot” to credit me in the Senior Superlatives with “Most Attractive.”
…they did forget, right?
Afrojack has been busy these past few weeks. First, he left his hand prints on the Hollywood walk of fame, then he rang the bell on Wall Street and finally he capped it all off by releasing new music from his forthcoming album (set to be released in early 2014).
The Dutch DJ’s latest single is titled, “The Spark” but you might know that word better as, “the things that fly out of Ke$ha’s vagina.” …maybe.
Chris Brown has a knack for almost-ruining everything. Exhibit D is his latest song with Afrojack, “As Your Friend.” The wistful song with an electro beat is perfectly clean and radio-friendly until the very end where he screams “Imma fuck that pussy” over and over — People can’t forget that you are disgusting, if you’re constantly reminding them. (For the record, Exhibits A-C are: his hair, his relationship with Rihanna, and his hair again)…
Afrojack kills it in the remix of Kirsty’s “Hands High.” I see that “Kirsty” subscribes to the “Dave Matthews Band” school of artist-name-originality. That also made her really easy to Google…
