“Love Me Like You Do” is the second song, (after The Weeknd’s “Earned It,”) released from the soundtrack to the upcoming movie Fifty Shades of Grey.
True to the spirit of the movie/book, all of the lyrics in the song are also names of sex positions. What? Don’t tell me you’ve never heard of a Passing Satellite? No? What about Find The Holy Grail? Really? Ok, at least you’ve heard of the Head Spinner? Still no?
Yesterday, Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding released their second collaborative track, a follow-up to their 2012 hit, “I Need Your Love.” Their latest single, “Outside” is Harris’ fifth release from his upcoming Motion album, out October 31st.
On “Outside,” Goulding sings of an unravelling affair, “Now every other day I’ve been watching you, I’ll show you what it feels like, Now I’m on the outside.”
…which is exactly how Kim Kardashian feels about Kanye’s relationship with his mirror.
“Goodness Gracious” is Ellie Goulding’s third single from her reissued album, Halcyon Days. The song was co-written with Fun. frontman, Nate Ruess.
What has become of basic human decency?? A song titled, “Goodness Gracious,” a singer named Ellie, and a band called Fun? Pop music used to be a depraved place where songs like “My Neck, My Back” and “Put It In Your Mouth” were hits.
Halcyon days indeed…
