“Love Game” is straight off of Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2, and features Em’s fellow Aftermath Entertainment artist and tour-buddy, Kendrick Lamar.
Other than the disco stick rides, it seems like these guys are playing a very different love game than Lady Gaga.
There’s no way to officially determine when a rapper goes from great to legendary, but a preliminary benchmark could be the ability to work the name “Jeff VanVonderen” into your rap flawlessly.

First Kanye pronounced he was a god, now Eminem has declared he is a rap god. All of these deity declarations make me wonder, who’s next? and could someone a little less… acidic proclaim himself as the almighty? Why can’t Wiz Khalifa decide he is a god? I’d give him the job – he seems like he would be a compassionate leader. We could call him the Most High.
Everything about Skylar Grey’s latest, “C’mon Let Me Ride” is wacky. First, it samples Queen’s “Bicycle Race.” Second, Eminem does a feature for this dancey-pop song like he’s Pitbull and that’s normal. (It’s not – he’s too dark, scary, and talented for that)…
