This past spring, Pitbull and Ke$ha performed together in Atlantic City. My friends and I heard about this event almost a month ahead of time, and said, “Pitbull and Ke$ha together in Atlantic City! What an epic dance party, we have to go.” For about a week, we shrieked in delight over the prospect of this event, and then real life caught up with us. The tickets were kinda expensive, and someone had plans early the next day, and yada yada yada – we didn’t end up going. That was the first time Pitbull and Ke$ha led to great disappointment.
This song is the second.
Remember those days when Ke$ha wasn’t releasing new music? That was a dark time. In her latest single, “C’mon” Ke$ha sings that she is “feeling like a saber-tooth-tiger.” I’ve only ever felt like a walrus… do you think they are similar feelings? I look forward to finding out, her new album Warrior is available now…
K-E-Dollar Sign is back after a year out of the spotlight. I appreciate that time away, thank you, Ke$ha. I can’t miss you if you never go away, (ahem Rihanna). Ke$ha told Rolling Stone that lately she has been influenced by hard-rock of the Seventies. Buuuuut, her new song, “Die Young” sounds very familiar: it’s classic Ke$ha, not classic rock. But no matter, we all know I have a soft spot for her and her trashy-pop-music, I love it…
