Lady Gaga ft. R. Kelly - Do What U Want

I’m not sure what’s working harder to promote ARTPOP, Lady Gaga or her ass, which has been on full display ever since she performed “Applause” at the VMAs. (Winter is coming… better get the fur thongs out.)

“Do What U Want,” debuted this week and features a 80s synth beat and R. Kelly (of course!) sharing his area of expertise: partying in the back of the club.

Gaga’s ARTPOP is scheduled for release November 8th, while R. Kelly recently announced that his 12th studio album, Black Panties, has been pushed back to December 10th. Unfortunately, I don’t think Kellz is going to be able to use “Do What U Want” on his album because the panties above are blue. Damn… so close.

Lady Gaga – Applause

Lady Gaga - Applause

In other “Finally Releasing New Music” news, Ms. Gaga has emerged from the abyss with a new tune, “Applause” — the lead single off of her upcoming album, ARTPOP.

Lady Gaga, have you been studying under the great Sean Carter? Lady Gaga wants to hear “applause, applause, applause,” which is the perfect white-girl translation of Jay Z’s “Clap for a ni**a with his rapping ass.” And Gaga’s “One second I’m a Koons, then suddenly the Koons is me” is not-unlike Jay’s “I’m a work of art, I’m Warhol already.”

It would be awesome if she was, but I’m going to chalk up the similarities to giant pop stars’ giant egos. Duet soon? Great, thanks.

It wouldn’t be Gaga if the album cover didn’t creep me out. So glad you’re back…?

Zedd and Lady Gaga – Stache

Posted on: October 6th, 2012 by Tina

Don’t you imagine some mornings Lady Gaga wakes up and thinks, “oh man… being a giant weirdo is so much work, I’ll just stay in today”? So on one of these days in, she added vocals to Zedd’s “Stache,” with sub-par results. This song is not Zedd’s first foray into pop music. Zedd produced Justin Bieber’s “Beauty and a Beat,” which some fans are calling the “best song ever.” (That was me who said that)…
