Pitbull ft. Ne-Yo - Time Of Our Lives

On November 21st, Pitbull released his latest album Globalization, and his fifth single, “Time Of Our Lives” along with it. The Dr. Luke produced track features verses from Pitbull and a chorus by Ne-Yo, who kicks off the song by singing, “I knew my rent was gon’ be late about a week ago, I worked my ass off, but I still can’t pay it though, But I got just enough, to get up in this club.” …typical Ne-Yo & Pitbull: great for starting parties, terrible for starting 401Ks.

Although who am I to talk, I have, like, twelve grand in checking… Can someone teach me how to do that thing that rich people do where they turn money into more money?

But what about the other 0.000002% ??? Polka — definitely.

Ne-Yo – Forever Now

ne-yo forever now

What’s not to like about this song? I’m happy StarGate helped produce this song – they know how to nail a dance-pop beat. I’m happy they worked with the Bingo Players, and that no one is crying (even just a little). But mostly, I’m happy that the singer has not thrown a chair through a window at Good Morning America.

My, how my standards have been lowered…

Ne-Yo – Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)

Posted on: August 2nd, 2012 by Tina

I’ve been exhausted from my round-the-clock Olympics watch. I truly believed they wouldn’t give out medals unless I was watching. The more random the sport, the more I wanted to watch: canoe sprint? yep. men’s field hockey? of course. Mixed doubles tennis? heartbreaking. Cycling road-race? unpredictable. Did you know there are red cards in race-walking? I did. In the hours that my TV was not held for ransom by my office, I got virtually nothing else done. As a result, finding new music fell by the wayside, but not anymore! Here’s Ne-Yo’s latest…

Calvin Harris ft. Ne-Yo – Let’s Go

In an ideal world, the combination of Ne-Yo and Calvin Harris should be dance-party-nirvana. Unfortunately, in reality, it sounds a little like Rihanna’s leftovers…
