Puff Daddy ft. Rick Ross & French Montana - Big Homie

Diddy has officially gone back to Puff Daddy with the release of his track, “Big Homie” featuring fellow big homies, Rick Ross and French Montana.

Over a banging beat, Diddy boasts, “You could go to any hood, bet they know me / Rose gold pinky ring – match the Rollie / Boy, yous a little ni**a – Gary Coleman,” and it’s lyrics like this that remind us that Diddy is a lot like Scientology — pretty absurd and kind of a joke, yet you’re still slightly afraid he could ruin your life if he wanted.

“Big Homie” is the first single from his upcoming MMM album, which stands for Money Making Mitch, which is from the 2002 film Paid in Full, in which Mekhi Phifer plays Mitch, which is based on the infamous Harlem drug lord Rich Porter. …which is pretty straightforward

Can't Nobody Hold Me Down Puff Daddy Mase

Now this is a throwback jam: 1997’s “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down” was Puffy’s debut single. (I’d like to say he’s come a long way since then, but musically, he pretty much peaked there).

Remember how upset people got when Puffy sampled other artists’ music for his raps? These days people get upset about Diddy on Downton Abbey. Ah, the 90s… they were simpler times…
