In anticipation of his upcoming album, Jeremih has dropped new music featuring rapper YG. The DJ Mustard produced beat samples the 1992 song, “Rhythm is a Dancer” by SNAP! which contains what one critic described as the worst lyric of all time, with the line “I’m as serious as cancer when I say rhythm is a dancer”.
…we’ve come along way since that 2008 article, since this song contains the lyric, “she wanna’ suck my dick, and I’m cool with it” and no one bats an eye.
The official version of YG and Drake’s new single, “Who Do you Love?” was released this week. (A leaked version surfaced right before the new year.) The DJ Mustard produced beat is off of YG’s upcoming album, My Krazy Life.
…which sounds *so* ToTaLly KeWL.
DID YOU HEAR THE NEWS?
[Young] Jeezy recently announced on the influential program, “RapFix Live” that “It’s Jeezy now, we dropped the ‘Young,'” (Who is “we”?) because he is almost 36 and “I’m grown now; I did enough of that.” (What is “that”?)
Do you think that on his 72nd birthday he’ll convert to “Old Jeezy”? It only makes sense. Can you imagine him still rapping at 72? The subject matter probably won’t change much… it’s still going to be about popping bottles (of Ensure), repping his block (of the retirement home), and gettin hoes in his ‘rari (still hoes).
